I am a Christian. Before I found Jesus I was so lost. HE has forgiven all of my sins. I stumble but HE is my guide. I know that I am weak. I also know that HE is my strength. I have failed so many times. But, HE has been there to clean up my messes. I’m definitely not perfect. But, HE loves me and thinks that I am worth it flaws and all. I still feel pain and heartache. And when I do, JESUS is who I cry out to. I’m a sinner who has been given God’s grace through Jesus’ blood shed on the cross.

In recent years several times people have asked me “if you could drive what kind of car would you drive?” I have often thought about this very subject since I became of legal driving age. I personally don’t like cars. “Silly boys trucks are for girls” has always been my way of thinking. I would much rather have a Ford F-150, 250 or 350 over any little car. I may be tiny but, I am mighty. I am a monkey. I can climb. No truck is too big for me to get into or out of.
When this pandemic hit I thought for sure that I would go absolutely bonkers. But, it actually has been good to me. I have been forced to get outside to do my exercising. I am out riding my handcycle 15-20 miles a day, in 3-4 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. It has been a blast doing all this handcycle riding. I use this time to meditate on God’s word, sing HIS praises and just get closer to HIM.
A meeting was held, quite far from earth
"It's time for another birth" Said the Angels to the Lord above, This special child will need much love." Her progress may seem very slow, Accomplishments she may not show And she'll require extra care From all the folks she meets down there. She may not run or laugh or play Her thoughts may seem far away In many ways she won't adapt, And she'll be known as handicapped. So let's be careful where she's sent We want her life to be content Please, Lord, find the right parents who Will do this special job for You. They will not realize right away The leading role they're asked to play But with this child sent from above Comes stronger faith and richer love. And soon they'll know the privilege given In caring for this gift from Heaven. Their precious charge, so meek and mild Is heaven's very special child. By: Edna Massimilla GOD knew that everyone needs
companionship and cheer, He knew that people need someone whose thoughts are always near. He knew they need someone kind to lend a helping hand. Someone to gladly take the time to care and understand. GOD knew that we all need someone to share each happy day, to be a source of courage when troubles come our way. Someone to be true to us, whether near or far apart. Someone whose love we'll always hold and treasure in our hearts. That's Why GOD Gave Us Friends Recently I met the most amazing family. The Aldrich family. This family has been through so much. They are quite the team. Just like Conner and Caden Long (Sports Illustrated Kids 2012 Sportskids of the year), Noah and his little brother Lucas(Lucas, age 6 on the left and Noah, age 8 on the right) are training for their first marathon. They will also do triathlons together. These boys are such an inspiration to me and to all they come in contact with. It is obvious to me and everyone around these precious boys that they love each other so very much. Last night (5/16/14) they ran their very first race as a team. I can't wait to see what God has in store for these boys and their parents. Count your blessings instead of your crosses.
Count your gains instead of your losses. Count your joys instead of your woes. Count your friends instead of your foes. Count your smiles instead of your tears. Count your courage instead of your fears. Count your full years instead of your lean. Count your kind deeds instead of your mean. Count your health instead of your wealth. -UNKNOWN - I pray for God's blessings upon you all. Do you feel like God couldn't possibly use you? So, Dear Friends, Do you still think God can’t use you? Think again! God can use anything, anyone, anywhere.. God wants to use you and me! Let's make a decision to allow God to use us as he wills. Remember: "God doesn't call the equipped, he equipped the called". Friends, that’s you and me:)! Prayer of Release I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return. 2 Timothy 1:12 NLT Heavenly Father, I release to You the burdens that I have been carrying, burdens that You never intended for me to carry. I cast all my cares upon You–all my worries, all my fears. You have told me not be anxious about anything, but rather to bring everything to You in prayer with thankfulness. Father, calm my restless spirit, quiet my anxious heart, still my troubling thoughts with the assurance that You are in control. I let go of my grip upon the things I have been hanging onto, with opened hands I come to You. I release to Your will all that I am trying to manipulate; I release to Your authority all that I am trying to control; I release to Your timing all that I have been striving to make happen. I thank You for Your promise to sustain me, preserve me, and guard all that I have entrusted to Your keeping. Protect my heart and mind with Your peace, the peace that passes all understanding. Father, may Your will be done in my life, in Your time, and in Your way. Scriptures: Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7, Philippians 4:6, Matthew 6, Isaiah 26:3, Luke 11:2 Just Think...
You're here not by chance, but by God's choosing. His hand formed you and made you the person you are. He compares you to no one else- you are one of a kind. You lack nothing that His grace can't give you. He has allowed you to be here at this moment in history to fulfill His special purpose for this generation. |

AuthorI am a Born Again Christian who loves life and people. I am blessed with a large loving family and tons of friends. Although I was born with Spina Bifida I am able to walk with the aide of forearm crutches and leg braces...despite what my doctors originally thought. Little did they know that they had a little fighter on their hands. I give Almighty God all the glory, honor and praise for giving me this challenging yet oh so amazing life. Archives
